Changes: Custom Race Guidelines

Players who have donated £5GBP or more to Elysium are welcome to request a custom race title. This page gives examples of which races are permitted and which are not, along with a brief explanation.

Additionally, staff still reserve the right to refuse a custom race even if the player believes it fits within these requirements due to it being unfitting.

Permitted Races

- Any race that matches the standard base-races

Basically, this is a regular default race name with in aqua

- Any race that is a renamed version of the standard base-races e.g. Sorcerer or Lycan, etc.

Please keep in mind that this includes having the base-race in a different language from English

Not-Permitted Races

For more in-depth information, please refer to the Locked Races page of the wiki.

- Anything related to being a God or Deity

God races would be unfair and can be considered to be too overpowered. Furthermore, please note that if players wish to worship you by their own will, they are allowed to do that, but you are not a God.

- Any title which is an occupation instead of a race e.g. Adventurer, Mercenary, etc.

Race titles must hint towards what your character is or looks like - not what they do for a living

The races below aren't allowed as they are considered too vague:

Consider a more specific race, since this will avoid confusion for other players

- "Unknown"

- "Humanoid"

The races below aren't allowed as they conflict with Elysium lore:

These races, if ever used in public role-play, are only for staff to use. Albeit, you can still role-play as these races as long as you do it privately and not in one of Elysiums public role-play areas

- "Dragons"

- "Wraiths"

- "Ancients"

Permitted Races with Special Conditions

- Any sort of "Dragonborn" or "Dragonkin" e.g. Dragon Mage, Dragon Fox, Draconian, etc.

The race must be a humanoid version which does not conflict with the Elysium lore

- Anything that only exists in within fiction such as Dungeons and Dragons, Anime, Fandoms, etc.

It would be preferable if the race fits within the general Medieval setting of Elysium

- Any sort of "Demon" or "Angel" race

Specifically for Demon races, it would be preferable for it to be a specific type, such as Fire Demon or Alp Demon

- "Succubus" and "Incubus"

Due to not knowing the actual age of players to ensure that they meet the minimum age for ERP, the past misuse of these races and the general lore behind them, these races will only be given to players deemed mature enough to not abuse in role-play
