DISCLAIMER: (This version of the Dalish elves is edited since this takes place in the Elysium universe, not the canon Dragon Age universe! The Dales will not be in this lore, as well as continents from DA that the history takes place in will be omitted for the sake of inserting the race smoothly.)
The Dalish are nomadic elves that seek to recover, inherit and preserve the knowledge and sacred treasures of their fallen kingdom. They lead nomadic lives, wandering throughout the continent. Many are descended from the nobility of the time of Arlathan (Elvhenan, meaning "place of our people" in the elven language, was the civilization of the elves, or elvhen, in the time when elves were still immortal and the dominant race on the surface.) The Dalish considering themselves to have the purest blood of that era. They still revere the elven pantheon, and in a ritual to commemorate reaching adulthood, each member of a tribe will have the symbol of their chosen god tattooed on their face.
