A Legendary tale… This player-written lore is non-canon and may not exist within Elysium until revived and approved by Staff upon request.
My last wiki page (The Lunifar) only covered the basic aspects of this race so this page will cover their rank by combat system, monarchy system, religion, rituals and some other things.
The rank by combat system
10 warriors defeated: Luminarius
50 warriors defeated: Recentarius
100 warriors defeated: Dicerius
250 warriors defeated: Imbremanus
500 warriors defeated: Mutatio (Only if there isn't a current Mutatio)
Religion
The Lunifar worship not a god but the moon, but not exactly the moon. The story goes that a man called Quaer was fascinated by the night, the constellations, the nebula's, the galaxies but most of all, the moon. He devoted his life to studying it until war came along and he was forced to wield the blade he loathed. When he returned from the war he found his observatory burnt down and all his valuable parchments destroyed. Enraged with this he wanted revenge. Blinded by his anger, he blamed this upon the Mutatio Durumius. He tracked him down and killed him. Realising he had loved doing the thing he hated, he ran up onto the tallest mountain and wrought an inexplicable piece of magic, binding him to the moon, trapping him in the thing he loved. It is Quaer's love of the moon and his overall wise life that encouraged people to not only worship the moon, but the man trapped inside.
Rituals
Once a year the Imbremanus (Shaman) calls upon Quaer to bless the next year with good fortune and peace. How they do this is all figures of importance gather round the shaman in a circle and chant a verse in harmony. The Shaman then sits cross-legged in the middle and drinks a brew which the Lunifar call Vidae Nurem. To others it causes horrific hallucinations but to the Lunifar it grants them powerful contact with higher beings who are willing to speak with them. No one but the Shaman fully understands the working of this ritual.
Powers
This is something only the Shaman can do. The Shaman can call upon Quaer to grant him strange, inexplicable powers that only the Shaman understands their origins and workings. My advice is if you see the Shaman preparing to use the spells run in the opposite direction.
Present Day
Currently the Lunifar reside in their mountain stronghold called Mitte Manum, Thrust Hand. Their Mutatio called Sunarius is missing. Coincidentally, he is the father of the Shaman. Prudentius.
